Buckeyes are down for the count
It was a great season, but all good things must come to an end. The Buckeyes will always be Ohio's team, but Cleveland won't be living vicariously through the Buckeyes for a 2006-2007 championship. We must turn our focus to the Cavaliers for this season. The Cavs are in 1st place, lots of hope! After that, a new Tribe season with hope, and a Browns draft as well. Let's not forget that we can live vicariously through the Buckeyes on a run for the Final Four! Go Cleveland, and go Buckeyes!Doron Kutash signing off.

Cleveland Buckeyes, OH IO!
The Buckeyes will play tonight for the National Championship! What a wonderful feeling. There really is nothing better, right? Well, a Browns, Cavs, or Indians championship would be at that level as well. Guess what though! If the Buckeyes win tonight, consider it a Cleveland championship. Here is why:
If you look at the Buckeyes depth chart, and roster, you will see a mass of Cleveland recruits. Troy Smith, Ted Ginn, Anthony Gonzales, Brian Robiskie, Jamario O'neal, Roy Hall, David Patterson, Mike D'Andrea, and these are just the big name guys at this current time. There are I believe 7 guys from Glenville HS. There are so many more that are Freshmen and Sophomores, awaiting their spot in the limelight. Also, if you count all of Northeast Ohio, there are more. Our top 2 running backs are from Akron, Pittman and Chris Wells. Our top 3 in passing stats are from this area(if you include Massillon). 5 out of the top 6 rushers are from this area. 7 of the top 8 receivers are from this area(including Canton). This is an amazing bit of information.
I am excited, Go Bucks!

Cavs in 1st place!
Here are the standings in the NBA. http://sports.yahoo.com/nba/standings The Cavs have overtaken the Detroit Pistons in the Central, and even have the best record in the entire Eastern Conference. This is a great sight to see, but we can't be satisfied. This team is good enough to win the championship with the right focus. This will be fun to watch!

Progressive Urban has an impressive portfolio
I am quite impressed with Progressive Urban. They have one of the most "progressive" portfolios of all real estate firms doing business in Cleveland. Check out http://www.progressiveurban.com. The properties are new, upbeat, interesting, and often trendy. They appear to be very selective in choosing properties, often other firms will have less aesthetic properties on hand. This company is one to follow for the coming years in Cleveland.

Foulke in Cleveland!
Great news for Indians fans. Another great signing for the bullpen, Keith Foulke. This bullpen is amongst the elite in the league. The Tribe is focused on pitching for once and this should lead them into the playoffs. The hitting will always be there with an average of 5 or 6 runs a game. Looks good for '07!
Leave Cleveland, but always come home
On New Year's night one conversation was extremely memorable. Out to eat with 20 of my closest friends at "The Rusty Nail" restaurant near Kent, Ohio, this conversation came to be. I met Brian and found out he is a student at Cleveland State. We spoke about Cleveland. He said "people always come back home to Cleveland after they leave". This is one thing everyone says and everyone knows they want deep in their heart. Yes, Chicago is thriving, New York City is big for almost anything, Arizona and Vegas are booming. But, you can go there, establish yourself, and your life may feel incomplete. It's the inner feeling, that love of Cleveland that makes you return to "home". Cleveland has that something special that you just can't find anywhere else. Cleveland has the best people. Cleveland has heart. Cleveland was built on industry, and it is building up momentum in new industries. These industries are technology, healthcare, fuels, chemicals, polymers, liquid crystals, banking, and law(amongst many others). The city hit a dry-spell but for every trough comes a peak, and vice versa. Lets believe in Cleveland and return to our long-awaited and deserved peak and prosperity.
